PRSI Plans to Hold Swim Camp in Thousand Islands

Thousand Islands Regency received hearings from the management of DKI Indonesian Swimming Association (PRSI) at Mitra Praja Office, Sunter, North Jakarta.

Not only socializing people about sport, but this event can also promote Thousand Islands' potential in maritime tourism

In this meeting, PRSI asked the regency about plan to hold swim camp in Thousand Islands.

Thousand Islands Regent, Husein Murad welcomes this plan because it can be used to promote tourism in Thousand Islands.

"We fully support it. Not only socializing people about sport, but this event can also promote Thousand Islands' potential in maritime tourism," he said, Tuesday (12/3).

Meanwhile, Jakarta PRSI General Secretary, Turmudzi added, his side plans to hold swim camp in Karya Island and Air Island. Besides, this event will invite national athletes or swimmers, especially from Jakarta.

"In the near future, we will survey the location and immediately hold swim camp after weather and waves condition better," he explained.
