35 Absorption Wells Developed in Pancoran

The South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has built 35 absorption wells in Pancoran Sub-district. 

Despite it is completed already, we will still keep mapping areas that are prone to flood

"Despite it is completed already, we will still keep mapping areas that are prone to flood," disclosed Pancoran Sub-district Executing Unit Head, Supriyanto, Friday (12/13).

Those wells are located on Jalan Kemang Timur V (on the yard of Kemang Timur I Pump Station) with 1 spot, Jalan Kemang Timur V (on the yard of Kemang Timur II Pump Station) with 2 spots, Jalan Kalibata Timur IV E (SDN Kalibata 04 pagi) with 7 spots and Jalan Pejaten Indah (in the front of Kalibata II Puskesmas) with 7 spots.

30 Absorption Wells Built in Jatinegara

There are also Jalan Pejaten Indah, RW 09, Kalibata Urban Village with 7 spots, Jalan Kalibata Timur I (SMPN 182) with 6 spots and Jalan Kalibata Utara VI (SMPN 238) with 5 spots.

"They were initially prioritized on lands belonging the SDA Agency, but it was cancelled due to lack of land. So, we decided to build them on the roadsides, in schools, puskesmas and on two lands belonging the Jakarta Provincial Government," he stated.
