Jakarta Bina Marga responded immediately when inundation as high as 40 centimeters occurs on Kuningan-Mampang Underpass, South Jakarta. Thus now the inundation has been receded and available for road users to pass the road.

Jakarta Bina Marga Department Head, Hari Nugroho stated inundation was occurred due to high water volume of Krukut River.
"We pump water on the underpass to the water channel that flows to Krukut River. But due to high water volume, water from channel can't flow into the river," he said, after monitoring inundation on Kuningan-Mampang Underpass, Wednesday (1/1).

"Our personnel are already on guard on the location. After this, we will evaluate it to find the best solution in overcoming inundation," he added.
