Jakarta DPRD Visits Flood Location in Semanan

Jakarta Council (DPRD) members visited Semanan residents at RT 10/01, Duri Kosambi Urban Village, Cengkareng, West Jakarta on Tuesday (1/7). They have provided fund assistance and foods for the flood victims whose houses are mostly flooded.

Jakarta DPRD's Gerinda Faction Leader, Rani Maulani stated, that settlement is located behind Pesakih Public Housing and it is one of the worst affected areas due to flood.

Meanwhile Jakarta DPRD's Golkar Faction Leader, Basri Baco mentioned, he got information from the locals that flood occurs because there is no channel to drain water into Mokervart River.

In this chance, his side promised to follow up resident's information to the related SKPD thus similar thing will not happen in the future.

Previously, this entourage of legislators also visited one of flood victims' houses at RT 05/01, Serdang Urban Village, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
