Rawa Badak Utara Park Starts to Operate Today

Construction of Rawa Badak Utara Park on Jalan Inspeksi Kali Sunter, Rawa Badak Utara, Koja, North Jakarta has completed. Starting today, it is opened to the public.

Last week is for the finishing and cleaning. Today, it starts to operate

North Jakarta Forestry Sub-department Head, Putut Widya Martata mentioned, this park's construction has been started since November 2019 and was completed last week.

"Last week is for the finishing and cleaning. Today, it starts to operate," he informed, Monday (1/20).

This Week, Elevation of Rawa Badak Utara River’s Dike Finished

Overall, he added, the 6,311 square meter-park was built on around 1.5 hectares land. It was built with two retention basins (embung) which separated by access road that leads to housing.

"It is also equipped with jogging track, mini amphitheater, outdoor fitness facility, and motorcycle parking area for the visitors," he explained.

Besides, his side also prepared 6 security guards who will be standby to monitor the park in shifts for 24 hours.

"Wet cross-section is used as water catchment area. This year, we plan to build children playground over there," he conveyed.
