Next Week, Construction of Klender Flyover Park Completed

The construction project of an interactive park under Klender Flyover keeps being carried out and is targeted to be done next week.

At this time, we just do the finishing, like painting the entire sport facilities as wide as ??2,700 square meters

As quoted by beritajakarta.com, Saturday (9/20), tens of workers are still arranging park and some facilities, like children's playground and sport facilities. Even, the visitors can use free wi-fi in the park.

As for the sport facilities consist of futsal arena, skateboard track, basket ball, badminton, giant chess, table tennis, and outdoor fitness.

Head of East Jakarta Parks Sub-Department, Suzi Marzitawati disclosed the project is targeted to be done next week. "At this time, we just do the finishing, like painting the entire sport facilities as wide as 2,700 square meters," she said, Saturday (9/20).

She uttered that later on, the park would have a 1.5-meter-high fence and be planted by trees to make the park more comfortable.

She hoped such park could be a model for other parks in the capital. Besides under Klender Flyover, similar park would be built under Kampung Melayu Flyover.
