The Jakarta DPRD's Commission A Member August Hamonangan appreciated the SDN Jagakarsa 05 Pagi, South Jakarta, which is friendly to students with special needs.

The school is already good and could be an example for other schools in bringing equality in education to children with special needs

"The school is already good and could be an example for other schools in bringing equality in education to children with special needs," he expressed, when he reviewed the SDN Jagakarsa 05 Pagi, Jalan Sirsak, Jagakarsa Urban Village, Jagakarsa Sub-district, South Jakarta, Monday (1/27).

He also appreciated and thanked for the great role of the teachers in providing education to them. One of them is a homeroom teacher, Ida Ayu Sri Arini who explained that the entire school environment, especially teachers, is very understanding of the condition of them.

"They are also our children. They need to be guided and educated well, full of love," she stated.

Meanwhile, parents of students with special needs Hasanah said, she felt grateful the school can create an education system that accommodates her son.

"I am happy, especially in this school has the figure of Mrs. Ida who can guide my son. Moreover, he is now the leader of a music group at school," she admitted.
