PT. Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) adds new route to accommodate KRL Commuter Line passengers during wessel repair in Gambir and Jakarta Kota stations.

Transjakarta Corporate Secretary and Public Secretary Division Head, Nadia Diposanjoyo said, the new route serves Manggarai Station - Tosari via Corridor 1 (Blok M - Kota). Her side provides 6 fleets to serve that route.
"There are 6 single-deck buses with capacity of 36 seated, 29 standing, and one for wheelchair. We choose this type to facilitate passengers who want to transit at Transjakarta bus shelter. It is done to anticipate the surge in passengers in Manggarai Station bus shelter, especially in rush hour, around 6 AM – 9 AM and 5 PM – 8 PM," she explained, Thursday (2/13).
PT Transjakarta Asked to Accelerate the Use of Electric BusAccording to her, that route is only an additional route that crosses the corridors. So far, route that passes through KCI (Commuter Line Train) is connected with Corridor 4. While this special route will take the passengers directly into the City's center, such as Tosari Bus Shelter in Corridor 1, offices, and commerce center.
Fleets that serve the route can be found right in front the exit gate of Manggarai Station. Passengers can take this bus without having to cross the corridors.
Benefits from road-based transportation which owned by Jakarta Provincial Government, she assessed, are the flexibility and route that can be designed and operated quickly thus it can continue to connect people's activities in Jakarta.
