Kramat Jati Sub-district Operates Three Public Kitchens

Kramat Jati Sub-district, East Jakarta, continues to operate three public kitchens to fulfill flood victims needs, although flood has receded.

Ingredients used for cooking in public kitchen are provided by Social Sub-department, CSR, and urban villages

Kramat Jati Sub-district Head, Eka Darmawan stated three public kitchens are located at Cililitan RPTRA, Cawang Urban Village Office's yard, and Kramat Jati PKK cadre's house at RW 11.

"Flood has receded, but some residents still stay in the shelter because they can't do their activity normally. Thus we still operate three public kitchen in the area," he said, Wednesday (2/26).

16 Public Kitchens for Flood Victims Set Up in Makasar

Public kitchen, he added, is used to distribute meals to the flood victims. Besides his side also received food assistance from Social Sub-department and East Jakarta PMI (Indonesian Red Cross).

"Ingredients used for cooking in public kitchen are provided by Social Sub-department, CSR, and urban villages," he conveyed.
