The Jakarta Provincial Government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) regarding Economic Development and Infrastructure, on Thursday (3/5).
Therefore, Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan along with Jakarta KADIN Head Diana Dewi signed a Mutual Agreement in the executive meeting (Rapimprov) I/2020 management period 2019-2024, Jakarta KADIN, at Bidakara Hotel, South Jakarta.

"We want Jakarta to grow big, its economy to grow, the absorbed workforce will increase. The poverty rate will decrease and moreover our poverty rate last year was the lowest throughout Indonesia in five years. The mutual agreement extension on economic development and infrastructure between the city and KADIN includes various sectors, including:

b. Transformation sector
c. Infrastructure Sector
d. Education Sector
e. Small and medium business sector
f. Digital economic sector and creative economy
g. Information and communication sector
h. Employment Sector
i. Health and social sector
j. Other sectors needed
Aside that, there was also a signing of Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between the city with the KADIN, which was witnessed by the governor. This PKS includes:
1. PKS between the Social Agency with KADIN on Economic Development in the Social Sector. Irmansyah as the Head of related agency along with the KADIN Head signed the PKS
2. PKS between the Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency with the KADIN on Economic Development in the Field of Manpower and Energy. Andri Yansyah as Head of related agency with the KADIN Head signed the PKS
3. PKS between the Tourism and Economic Agency with the KADIN on Tourism Economic Development and Creative Economy. Cucu Ahmad as Head of related agency with the KADIN Head signed the PKS.
At the same time, similar signing was also conducted between Bank DKI and PT Jakarta Tourisindo, with the KADIN.
Dewi asserted that her party's role is a business association has a very strategic role for the city in improving economic performance.
"InsyaAllah, in the future, the city will help us to support entrepreneurs under her party. We'll develop, grow with any conditions," she stated.
