COVID-19 Socialization Given to 19 Schools in North Jakarta

North Jakarta Administration intensifies socialization related to coronavirus response program in schools. Today, socialization is given to 19 schools in 6 sub-districts.

Our main purpose is to educate students about COVID-19 and its prevention

North Jakarta Health Sub-department (Sudinkes) Head, Yudi Dimyati assessed, this socialization is important to explain students about coronavirus and how to prevent it.

"Our main purpose is to educate students about COVID-19 and its prevention," he stated, Monday (3/9).

This socialization is held simultaneously in 19 schools, including SDN 03 Kapuk Muara, SMPN 113 Ancol, SMKN 23 Pademangan, SMPN 270 Kelapa Gading, MTs 15 Marunda, and SMK Cikini.

"We socialize it to students during ceremony. Hopefully they can share information about this virus to the others," he said.

Jakarta Education Department's SMK Division Head, Diding Wahyudi explained, this socialization is held through collaboration between regional working units (UKPD)s, including North Jakarta Sudinkes in order to socialize Jakarta Response Against Corona Program to the citizens.

"Those students are expected to be able in preventing the disease and sharing the information to their parents, communities, relatives, and neighborhood thus COVID-19 transmission can be avoided," he said.
