East Jakarta Sudinpusip Provides 30 Reading Corners

In order to support Jakarta Membaca program, East Jakarta Library and Archive Office (Sudinpusip) prepared 30 reading corners in 24 RPTRAs and Public Reading Parks.

East Jakarta Sudinpusip Head, Eka Nur Etikaputra stated, reading corners are provided to motivate children to love reading.

"30 reading corners have been prepared to support Jakarta Membaca program. We encourage every participants to choose any book they like and write down what they have learned from the book they read," he said, Saturday (3/14).

South Jakarta has 31 Reading Spots for Baca Jakarta Program

There are 45 volunteers involved to support this program. But there is a possibility that the number of volunteers will increase because his side wants each reading corners to have at least 2 volunteers.

"Their job is to guide children to read and write, then share and post the activities to the social media," he closed.
