Coronavirus, PT Transjakarta Doesn't Serve Cash Payments

Starting on Thursday (3/19) tomorrow, the PT Transjakarta will temporarily not serve all forms of transactions using cash for to up electronic (e-money) and single card at all Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) stops.

"We do this to anticipate the spread of coronavirus infection, especially in public transportation," said Transjakarta Corporate Secretary, Nadia Diposanjoyo, Wednesday (3/18).

She stated, customers are asked to ensure that the balance of money or electronic card credit is sufficient. For those who want to do top up, you can use debit done at bus stops as usual, but only applies to certain banks such as BCA, Mandiri and BNI.

"Its payment can be done through Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) or at the nearest minimarket," she told.

Her party urged citizens to limit travel to what is really needed, always take care of health and follow the officers' directions when using Transjakarta services.

"The citizens can also monitor Transjakarta's development through our social media," she stated.
