Sudinkes Jakpus Adakan Rapid Test Covid-19 di 6 RSUD dan 8 Puskesmas

Central Jakarta Provides Rapid Test in RSUD and Puskesmas

Central Jakarta Health Sub-Agency (Sudinkes) held coronavirus rapid test for health workers in 6 public hospitals (RSUD) and 8 sub-district health centers (Puskesmas) in the region.

Rapid test will be prioritized for those who need it because Central Jakarta's quota is only around 2,000 rapid tests

Central Jakarta Sudinkes Head, Erizon Safari stated, for the time being, rapid test will be given to health workers who make direct contact with people under investigation (ODP), patients under investigation (PDP), and patients who are confirmed positive of COVID-19.

"Rapid test will be prioritized for those who need it because Central Jakarta's quota is only around 2,000 rapid tests," he mentioned, Thursday (3/26).

COVID-19 Affects MRT Phase 2 Construction Process

According to him, rapid test was held in 6 RSUDs, namely RSUD Tarakan, RSUD Cempaka Putih, RSUD Johar Baru, RSUD Tanah Abang, RSUD Sawah Besar, and RSUD Kemayoran. As well as 8 puskesmas including Puskesmas Tanah Abang, Puskesmas Johar Baru, Puskesmas Gambir, Puskesmas Kemayoran, Puskesmas Cempaka Putih, Puskesmas Sawah Besar, Puskesmas Menteng and Puskesmas Senen.

"Rapid test will be held in those RSUDs and puskesmas. They can request for the test anytime," he added.

According to him, blood sample will be taken from health workers who make direct contact with ODP, PDP, and COVID-19 positive patients for rapid test. Its result can be seen in about 30 minutes.

"We need rapid test because it can show the result fast. Thus when we found any health worker who is positive of COVID-19, we can immediately take the suspect to the nearest hospital or Wisma Atlet," he explained.

Based on data from corona.jakarta.go.id per March 26, 2020, there were 230 ODP and PDP cases in Central Jakarta. Thus his side encourage people to do their activities at home to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission in Jakarta.

"We remind them to reduce their activities outdoor. One that cause an increased transmission is because of contact from one person to another," he asserted.
