Houses and Homestay Units in Pramuka Island Sprayed with Disinfectant

Residents houses and homestay at RW 04 Pramuka Island, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands were disinfected again to prevent coronavirus disease (COVID-19) transmission.

Hopefully it can prevent COVID-19 transmission, especially in Pramuka Island

Panggang Island Urban Village Head, Pepen Kuswandi stated, it was done because people considered self-disinfection was not optimal since it only used makeshift tools. Moreover, many homestay units in Pramuka Island that were used by local and foreign tourists.

"We start to spray disinfectant from RW 04 office then continue to residents houses and homestay units," he explained, Monday (3/30).

His side mentioned, this disinfection was carried out by health workers, PMI personnel, Satpol PP, PPSU, and civil apparatuses.

"Hopefully it can prevent COVID-19 transmission, especially in Pramuka Island," he stated.
