That aid was given to help local residents to perform self-disinfection and encourage them to consume fruits since it can boost their immune system.

"In order to prevent coronavirus transmission, we want to help residents to perform self-disinfection. Besides, it is easy to make disinfectant by yourself," he said, Monday (3/30).

According to him, this effort should be supported by legislators in each constituencies thus residents can remain calm and alert.

"As the people's representatives, we are not only monitoring government apparatuses' work, but we also have to be ready to help our partners and Jakartans. Regarding coronavirus, please don't panic. Remain calm but alert and comply with government instructions," he asserted.
