AKAP Bus Operational Cancelled by Dishub

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) cancelled operational services of all intercity interprovince (AKAP) buses, interprovincial shuttle (AJAP) buses, and tour buses from March 30, 2020, at 6 PM .

Prohibition for AKAP fleets that operate from and to Jakarta area can't be implemented yet

Jakarta Dishub Head, Syafrin Liputo conveyed, this cancellation was carried out because Jabodetabek Transportation management Agency (BPTJ) hasn't issued letter regarding public transportation services dismissal for fleets that serve from and to Jabodetabek.

"Prohibition for AKAP fleets that operate from and to Jakarta area can't be implemented yet, because until now BPTJ hasn't issued letter to stop public transportation service from and to Jabodetabek," he stated, Monday (3/30).

He explained that previously it was agreed that there are no AKAP service to and from Jabodetabek starting Monday, March 30, 2020 at 18:00, and the letter will be issued by BPTJ Head.

"But until today, the letter hasn't issued yet, thus currently this policy can't be implemented yet," he closed.
