Government Facilitates Residents to Shop Staple Foods via Online

Jakarta Provincial Government together with related agencies provide an ease of buying staple foods via online for Jakartans during COVID -19 pandemic.

It can also help people to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission

This service was offered by regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) in food sector, Jakarta Logistic Agency (Bulog), and Jakarta Toko Tani Indonesia Center (TTIC) in order to fulfill residents' needs while supporting them to stay at home and apply physical distancing.

Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Agency Head, Darjamuni conveyed, online shopping is the perfect choice for residents during COVID-19 pandemic in Jakarta.

"It can also help people to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission," he stated, Monday (4/6).

He ensures that quality of products from online stores is the same as the products sold by Bulog, PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya, PD. Dharma Jaya,  Perumda Pasar Jaya, and TTIC which have information about its expire date and passed the required standards.

"For those who receive foods that is not in accordance with the standards can file a complaint to us via online," he mentioned.
