Merchants in Tanah Abang Market Socialized About Kepgub No. 361/2020

Kampung Bali Urban Village, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta socialized Jakarta Gubernatorial Decree (Kepgub) No. 361/2020 concerning the Extension of COVID-19 Emergency Response Status in Tanah Abang Market.

We want them to stay at home if possible to reduce the crowd

In this socialization, all customers and merchants in Tanah Abang market were encouraged to stop market activities temporarily.

Kampung Bali Urban Village, Etik Kusmiati stated, this socialization was done to break the chain of coronavirus transmission. Moreover, COVID-19 emergency period will be extended until April 19, 2020.

"Previously, we planned to re-open Tanah Abang Market, but after Kepgub was issued, we socialized merchants and customers in Tanah Abang Market in case they didn't know that yet," she explained, Monday (4/6).

Together with 9 Satpol PP personnel, 3 TNI armies, and FKDM, her side informed merchants and customers at Tanah Abang Market Block A, B, F, and G about extension of COVID-19 emergency period.

"We want them to stay at home if possible to reduce the crowd," she asserted.
