Companies in KBN Cakung and Marunda Closed Down After Ignoring PSBB

If they still ignore the rules, we will involve the police for further action

Joint personnel of the police, army, Satpol PP, Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency stacked the closing sticker to a number of companies in Cilincing area that have violated the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) policy, on Wednesday (4/15).

"We have reports and complaints from citizens that there are still companies in KBN Cakung and Marunda operating during PSBB," said North Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Health Sub-agency Head, Gatot S Widagdo.

He explained they had ignored the Gubernatorial Regulation number 33/2020 on PSBB by employing thousands of employees. Moreover they work in close quarters in which it was very vulnerable to the coronavirus transmission.

His side ensured that supervision would be intensified on companies that have stickers.

"If they still ignore the rules, we will involve the police for further action," he asserted.
