Tidung Islands Urban Village of South Thousand Islands has distributed Family Welfare Card (KKS) issued by Social Ministry to 132 poor and vulnerable families in the region.
They will receive the assistance starting next month
Tidung Urban Village Head, Hafsah mentioned, KKS recipients will get staple food assistance every month through electronic stall (e-warung) appointed by Social Ministry to serve the residents.
"Residents who receive KKS will get the same status as 176 beneficiary families (KPM). They will receive the assistance starting next month," he explained, Saturday (4/18).

During COVID-19 pandemic, he continued, KKS holders should pick up the assistance in form of rice, eggs, chicken, and fruits from e-warung
"At the time like this, surely this assistance is very useful for people in need," he closed.
