837 Passengers Departed from Kampung Rambutan Terminal

A day before fasting, as many as 837 passengers had been departed from Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal, East Jakarta. They went to a number of cities in West and Central Java.

Thus far the situation is still conducive

Passengers who arrive checked by officers according to applicable health protocols. They reminded to use masks and to maintain physical distancing.

Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal Head Made Joni expressed that there was an increase in the number of passengers compared to yesterday. Yet its number was still relatively low due to COVID-19 pandemic.

"Thus far the situation is still conducive," he expressed, Thursday (4/23).

He explained that this number was high compared to Wednesday (4/22) which reached 500 passengers. Then on regular days or before COVID-19, his side managed to absorb 1,500 per day or around 3,000 passengers per day when entering the homecoming season.

"Before leaving, we first check the bus not to carry passengers more than 50 percent of the existing capacity. It is done at the departure lane and at the checkpoint post near the exit," he stated.
