Jakarta's Latest Official COVID-19 Cases as of May 2, 2020

Jakarta Provincial Government through the Jakarta Task Force Team for Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling provided updated information regarding COVID-19 cases per May 2, 2020.

2,089 patients are being treated in hospitals, while 1,304 people carry out self-isolation at home

Jakarta Health Agency's Public Health Division Head, Fify Mulyani mentioned, as many as 562 people recovered with death toll reached 400 people from total 4,355 positive cases in Jakarta.

Next, there are 1,357 positive cases without symptoms (OTG), 6,970 people under surveillance (ODP) (in this case, 6,753 people have been monitored and 217 people are still under surveillance), and 5,799 patients under observation (PDP) (4,805 patients have returned home and 994 patients still being treated).

Regarding rapid test, her side continues to provide it in six municipalities and regent of Jakarta and Employee Health Service Center (PPKP). In total, 79,680 people have carried out rapid test with positive percentage of COVID-19 reached 4 percent or 3,044 people and 76,636 people stated negative.

Jakarta Government through Health Agency also provided mental health care for people affected by COVID-19. Residents can also access online consultation service through Sahabat Jiwa website at sahabatjiwa-dinkes.jakarta.go.id.

Jakarta Provincial Government also appreciated various sides who have participated and collaborated with local government in handling COVID-19 pandemic. Until May 1, 2020, there are 134 collaborators from business institutions, NGO/CSOs, UN Agencies, Universities, Ministries, Institutions with the same level as ministry, and individuals.

People who are interested to collaborate, support / provide assistance, here are things that are still needed: Personal Protective Equipment, face masks, gloves, and staple foods. Support can be delivered directly to Secretariat of the Task Force for the Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling in DKI Jakarta Province at City Hall, 2nd floor of Block G Building or through website jdcn.jakarta.go.id.

Furthermore, Jakarta Provincial Government also opened an opportunity for people who want to share with others who need help because of the impact of COVID-19 pandemic through Large-scale Social Collaboration (KSBB) program in this Ramadan month. Through this program, people can provide assistance in form of staple foods, ready meals, or cash.

Jakarta Provincial Government has partnered with official aid distributors in this program, namely Jakarta Red Cross, Baznas Bazis DKI Jakarta, Rumah Zakat Foundation, and Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT). For further information, visit corona.jakarta.go.id/ksbb.
