Some 1,347 liquor bottles from Cengkareng area, West Jakarta were confiscated by 30 personnel of Satpol PP assisted by 20 members of army and police last night. 

After seeing this case, we'll do more routine sweeping

It was done to enforce the supervision and enforcement of business premises that violate the Gubernatorial Regulation number 18/2018 on Tourism Business and number 33/2020 on PSBB.

During sweeping in Cengkareng area, Jakarta Satpol PP Head Arifin said, personnel found a restaurant in Palem Park area that sells alcoholic drinks in Ramadan.

His men then sealed the restaurant, as they did not run the government regulations during PSBB in Jakarta. They were still open, moreover the employees did not wear gloves and masks.

"We will bring them (liquor bottles) to the West Jakarta Satpol PP warehouse in Kebon Jeruk for further action. After seeing this case, we'll do more routine sweeping," he stressed.
