53 Tailors in South Jakarta Produce 38,394 Cloth Masks

53 tailors coached by South Jakarta Industry, Trade, and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency have produced 38,394 cloth masks which distributed to the residents for free.

Since April 17, we have empowered those tailors to produce cloth masks

"Since April 17, we have empowered those tailors to produce cloth masks," stated Shita Damayanti, Head of South Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-agency, Tuesday (5/5).

Cloth masks are mostly produced by tailors in Tebet, Mampang Prapatan, and Pasar Minggu. Number of the tailors participated in the mass production of cloth masks could be increased based on the needs.

"We have sent the materials to make another 20 thousand cloth masks. Because all regions of Jakarta are targeted to produce two million cloth masks," she closed.
