Jakarta Bureau of Mental and Spiritual Education (Dikmental) have called on all Muslims in Jakarta to conduct Eid al-Fitri prayers at home due to the pandemic in the capital.
"Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) and Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) have also issued a fatwa on the matter, allowing Eid al-Fitr prayers at home in areas where COVID-19 has spread uncontrollably," said Jakarta Dikmental Head, Hendra Hidayat, Tuesday (5/19).
