Kamal Urban Villages Distributes 132,180 Cloth Masks

Kamal Urban Village, Kalideres distributed 132,180 free cloth masks sent by Jakarta Government to RWs and RTs in the region in order to prevent COVID-19 transmission.

As many as 132,180 cloth masks are distributed for 10 RWs and 102 RTs in Kamal Urban Village

Kamal Urban Village Head, Ari Kurnia conveyed, cloth masks were distributed from urban village to RW, RW, then to the residents through door-to-door system by involving LMK, Karang Taruna (youth) and FKDM cadres. Its distribution was monitored by urban village apparatuses.

"As many as 132,180 cloth masks are distributed for 10 RWs and 102 RTs in Kamal Urban Village. We ensure to carry it out according to health protocols and avoiding crowd," he asserted, Tuesday (5/19).

According to him, each person received two cloth masks. Any residents who don't wear mask while outside will be sanctioned as regulated in Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 41/2020 on Imposition of Sanctions Against PSBB Violations in Handling COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta.

"Thus no reason for not wearing mask because we have distributed it to all residents," he stated.
