Rain Estimated to Fall in Parts of Jakarta This Afternoon

Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicted rain to fall in several regions of Jakarta this afternoon.

Rain is potential to fall with lightning and strong wind in short duration

"Partly sunny in morning," stated Achmad Taufan Maulana, BMKG's Public Relation Head, Tuesday (5/26).

In afternoon, he continued, light rain will fall in East Jakarta, Central Jakarta and moderate rain in West Jakarta and South Jakarta.

"Rain is potential to fall with lightning and strong wind in short duration around this afternoon in East Jakarta and South Jakarta," he added.

This evening, light rain will fall in Central Jakarta and North Jakarta and cloudy at down in most regions.

Today's temperature could reach 24-34 Celsius degree with humidity 75-90 percent. Wind blows from north to east within 05-20 kilometers per hour.
