Untung Jawa Urban Village Receives Assistance of 1,000 Staple Food Packages

Untung Jawa Urban Village, South Thousand Islands, received 1,000 staple food packages from Metro Jaya Water Police (Polair) at Untung Jawa Island's Main Pier, Friday (5/29).

Distribution is carried out by the regional administrators

Untung Jawa Urban Village Head, Supriyadi conveyed, that assistance will be distributed for orphans and poor people in 3 RWs.

"Distribution is carried out by the regional administrators based on available data in order to avoid crowd," he added.

Duri Selatan Distributes 905 Packages of Social Aid

Each packages consist of 5 kilograms rice, 250 grams cooking oil, a bottle soy sauce, milk, instant noodles, 250 grams sugar, mask, toiletries, hand sanitizer, and handkerchief.

In detail, his side distributed 280 packages for poor residents in RW 01, 217 packages for RW 02, 223 packages for RW 03, and 280 packages for elderly and orphans.

"Hopefully this assistance can ease their burden in facing the COVID-19 outbreak," he said.
