Illegal Parking, 53 Vehicles in Tanah Abang Netted

Some 53 motorcycles parked alongside Jalan Walahar, Tanah Abang were netted by dozens of joint personnel under Central Jakarta Satpol PP and Transportation Sub-agency, on Tuesday (6/2).

"We control them, as our socialization about illegal parking is ignored," expressed Tanah Abang Sub-district Head, Yassin Pasaribu.

Therefore, to prevent similar case, his side installed a parking ban at the location. The building manager was also asked to provide a wider parking lot in order to prevent illegal parking.

"They actually already have a parking lot but it's small. That's why it triggers illegal parking. We will continue to conduct raids until the y give up," he stressed.
