Swab Test Conducted on 80 Semper Barat Residents

As many as 80 residents at RW 06 Semper Barat Urban Village, Cilincing, North Jakarta have undergone Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) or swab test for screening COVID-19 spread.

Cilincing Sub-district Puskesmas Head, Edison mentioned, 30 health workers who conducted the swab test were using personal protective equipment (PPE).

"It is swab test, not rapid test. We conduct it by targeting 80 residents," he confirmed, Tuesday (6/9).

Semper Barat Urban Village Head, Benhard Sihotang explained, RW 06 is categorized as red zone with total 6 cases of positive COVID-19. Thus he considered that swab test should be done to know the spread of COVID-19 in the region.

"Swab test is conducted to screen the spread of COVID-19," he added.

Furthermore, his side also cooperated with North Jakarta Empowerment, Children Protection, an d Population Control (PPAPP) Sub-agency to give socialization to the local residents about COVID-19 prevention, especially for elderly people, women, and toddlers.

"Socialization is needed to educate our residents about preventing COVID-19 spread, especially for elderly, women, and toddlers," he closed.
