Bung Karno Stadium Sprayed with Disinfectant

As many as 84 firefighters of Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Agency have been dispatched to spray disinfectants in Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium area, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

We also have deployed 2 units of high pressure vehicle, 2 units of watermist vehicle, 5 units of light fire truck and 20 units of power sprayer

"We also have deployed 2 units of high pressure vehicle, 2 units of watermist vehicle, 5 units of light fire truck and 20 units of power sprayer," expressed Jakarta Gulkarmat Agency Head, Satriadi Gunawan, Tuesday (5/16).

He expressed the stadium has been opened for public during the transition period. Therefore, the agency along with the GBK management continues to curb coronavirus spread that is by spraying disinfectants periodically in the venue and GBK area and its stadium Ring Road.

"It is focused on Ring 3, the venue yard and Ring 4 covering protocol roads around the stadium area, namely, Jalan Asia Afrika Senayan, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman and Jalan Gerbang Pemuda," he explained.

His side asked GBK management to always implement strict health protocols such as checking the body temperature of each visitor and requiring hand washing with soap.

"Using masks, keeping a physical distance, not in groups, etc," he stressed.

In addition, his side also routinely sterilizes environmental, public facilities, social facilities, and worship places.
