Ahead of Monas Reopening, Gulkarmat Sterilizes the Area with Disinfectant

Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency deployed tens personnel to disinfect Monas area on Wednesday (6/17).

According to plan, Monas will be reopened to the public from June 20

Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency Head, Asril Rizal conveyed, disinfectant spraying conducted to sterilize Monas area before reopening it to the public on June 20.

"It becomes our duty to disinfect public spaces or facilities," he asserted.

In this activity, his side sterilized 4 spots in Monas area by spraying disinfectant liquid. Three spots were located outside of the monument (Tugu Monas) and one spot located inside the monument.

"According to plan, Monas will be reopened to the public from June 20 by limiting visitors up to 50 percent of the capacity. Its operational hour is from 8 AM to 5 PM," he explained.
