After Reopening, 7,273 People Visit Ancol Within Two Days

After closing for 3 months, Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, North Jakarta, was reopened to public starting on Saturday (6/21). Within two days, from Saturday (6/20) to Sunday (6/26), Ancol was visited by 7,273 people.

PT. Pembangunan Jaya Ancol's Corporate Communications Department Head, Rika Lestari mentioned, on the first day of Ancol's reopening on Saturday (6/20), her side noted 2,668 visitors. While on Sunday (6/21), the number of passengers increased by 200 percent or as many as 4,605 visitors.

"We are still implementing COVID-19 prevention protocols. Besides, in this transition period of PSBB, the management also gradually limits the visitors up to 50 percent from normal capacity and only allows visitors with Jakarta ID Card (KTP) who can buy tickets online," she informed, Monday (6/22).

Her side allows activities in beach area since it is considered great for health as long as the visitors maintain health protocols. Elderly with age above 60 years are also allowed to exercise in beach area, Pasar Seni, and Allianz Ecopark green open space (RTH) from 6-10 AM.

"We appreciate visitors who have bought tickets online and follow the regulations and health protocols in Ancol area," she conveyed.
