South Jakarta PPAPP Receives 83 Violence Reports

In January - June 2020 period, South Jakarta Empowerment, Children Protection, and Population Control (PPAPP) Sub-agency recorded 83 cases of violence against women and children have been served in South Jakarta.

Those reports were followed up by complaint service posts of the legal assistance and counseling in four Children-friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA)s.

South Jakarta PPAPP Sub-agency Head, Fathur Rohim stated, four RPTRAs that can serve complaints of violence cases are RTPRA Kemuning in Pasar Minggu, RPTA Kemandoran in Kebayoran Lama, RTPRA Flamboyan in Tebet, and RPTRA Ciganjur Berseri in Jagakarsa.

PPAPP Agency Receives 209 Complaints in Quarter II of 2020

"From January to June, we have received 83 cases of violence against women and children," he mentioned, Monday (7/6).

During the COVID-19 pandemic, complaint service provided on the location by complying with health protocols. Furthermore, his side also provided services via Call Center 112 or Hotline at 0813 176 176 22.

"Assistance will be given for the victims at UPT P2TP2A Jakarta Office by implementing health protocols," he explained.
