PT. MRT Jakarta Performance Discussed in the Commission B Meeting

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission B held meeting with one of Jakarta Regional-owned Enterprises (BUMD), PT. Mass Rapid Transit Jakarta (PT. MRT Jakarta), on Wednesday (7/8).

We will continue the meeting to discuss the work plans technically

Commission B Chairperson, Abdul Aziz mentioned, in this meeting, his side wanted to assess PT. MRT Jakarta's performance in 2019 and discuss work plans in 2020. Before holding this meeting, his side has surveyed on the field.

"We have seen that health protocols have been carried out well and the quality of transit oriented development-based stations is also quite detailed," he conveyed.

Commission B Holds Work Visit to Jakarta International Stadium

Moreover, his side also wanted to know about PT. MRT's development for Phase II and III related to facilities, infrastructures, and depot constructions.

"We want to find out about their plans. Because it relates with lane construction and investment with foreign companies," he asserted.

His side plans to hold the next meeting to continue discussion about PT. MRT Jakarta's work plans 2020 in detail by inviting all stakeholders, including Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub).

"We will continue the meeting to discuss the work plans technically. For decisions and the others can wait, thus PT. MRT as the executor is clear in making policies," he closed.
