Citizens Along Kali Item Riverbank Relocated to Flat

Hundreds of families who stay in Kali Item riverbank, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, is relocated to low-cost flat. The previous location will be constructed as inspection road.

Previously, 100 families are already moved to Komarudin low-cost flat

Based on beritajakarta.com observation, Friday (10/10), hundreds of families were unloading their house. Satpol PP prepared box car to deliver families' property into the flat.

" Previously, 100 families are already moved to Komarudin low-cost flat , while the rests 220 families are moved to Pulogebang flat," said Iyan Sopyan Hadi, Head of Kemayoran Urban Village,Friday (10/10).

Iyan added that those families had lived along the riverbank for 30 years. Inspection road to be constructed along the riverbank to minimize traffic jam along 2.2 km.

"The relocation run smoothly, no one protest. We've socialized through persuasive method," Iyan added.
