Residents living in Thousand Islands through Regency Council are requesting the status of the Seribu Islands General Regional Hospital (RSUD) on Pramuka Island, North Thousand Islands from type D to the higher types.

Besides health, he furthered, the transportation sector was also still an obstacle in Thousand Islands as there was no integrated inter-island regular transportation yet.
"Currently residents or tourists have to pay around Rp 300 to 600 thousand to rent a boat to another island. The transportation costs to the ground are cheaper, as there are many regular ships or river water taxis," he stated.
