South Jakarta SDA Accelerates Pulo River Normalization

South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency accelerates Pulo River normalization on Jalan Jati Padang Baru, Jati Padang, Pasar Minggu which carried out since July 7, 2020.

It will be widened to 2.2 meters

South Jakarta SDA Sub-agency Maintenance Section Head, Junjung mentioned, in this normalization, his side widen the river's capacity thus it can be optimal in storing water in rainy season.

"The existing dimension of Pulo River is one meter and it will be widened to 2.2 meters. Length of the river that will be normalized is around 25 meters," he stated, Friday (7/24).

Channel Normalization Carried Out on Jl. Jiung Kemayoran

During the normalization process, his side deployed 10 personnel to work at 8 AM-4 PM . This project is targeted to finish in December 2020.

"By normalizing the river, hopefully it could overcome inundation when the heavy rain falls," he closed.
