726 People from South Thousand Islands Have Undergone Swab Tests

And today they have been declared cured

The South Thousand Islands Sub-district Puskesmas has served 726 people through swab tests from three urban villages in South Thousand Islands from April 14 to July 24.

According to Ilmi Tri Indarto, Head of South Thousand Islands Puskesmas, swab tests were conducted on people known to enter and exit the island and had stopped in the red zone.

Legislators and Employees to Undergo COVID-19 Swab Tests

Based on the test results, he explained, 31 out of 726 people were infected with COVID-19. 26 of them were from Tidung Island, 2 were from Pari Island and 3 were from Untung Jawa Island.

"And today they have been declared cured," he expressed, Thursday (7/30).

Hopefully residents would continue to comply with health protocols in their activities, reduce traveling outside the island and always wash their hands and wear masks when outside the home.

"Supervision of officers is important but awareness of citizens is more important to prevent the spread of COVID-19," he stated.
