Parekraf - YAI University Holds Webinar about How to Survive Your Business in Pandemic

The Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economic (Disparekraf) collaborates with the Indonesia Persada University (UPI) to hold a webinar with the theme 'How to Survive Your Business in Pandemic' via Zoom application, on Monday (8/24).

This training is very important, where every participant will get a lot of knowledge about how to survive and find entrepreneurial solutions in COVID-19 crisis

It was participated by 65 participants who are coached Jakpreneur trainees under the Disparekraf.

Jakarta Disparekraf Acting Head Gumilar Ekalaya said it was aimed at helping Jakpreneur trainees find solutions and better understand the entrepreneurial system to develop their business amid the pandemic.

"This training is very important, where every participant will get a lot of knowledge about how to survive and find entrepreneurial solutions in COVID-19 crisis, either marketing or product development," he stated.

He explained the pandemic had affected almost all sectors, including Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) Thereby, the government together with stakeholders would help them how to survive during the pandemic.

It was one of the city administration's efforts together with universities to help and support UMKMs, including to provide insight and refreshment. Thus they were able to survive and be enthusiastic in doing business.

"We are sure that the material presented can complement the government's ideas and steps in mitigating the UMKM sector affected by the pandemic," he stated.

As for the information, there were a number of speakers presented in the webinar are Indonesia Persada University (UPI) Chancellor, Yudi Yulius and UPI YAI Entrepreneurship Study Center and Start Up Workshop Owner, Nurina.
