Dishub will Give an Award at Cycling Friendly Collaboration Event

Commemorating World Car Free Day on September 22, Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) will give Cycling Friendly Collaboration award as an appreciation for building managements, building, and private sectors who accommodate the cyclists.

This award is given as our gratitude for all parties who have supported Jakarta Cycling Friendly program and accommodated cyclists

Online registration is open from September 1-13 through http://bit.ly/BangunanRamahPesepeda.

"The award categories are for Office Buildings, Shopping Centers, Residential Buildings such as apartments or public housings, and Low Buildings for Business," said Syafrin Liputo, Head of Jakarta Dishub, Wednesday (9/9).

North Jakarta Has Designated Two roads as a Special Zone for Cyclists

In order to participate, participants should upload photos of facilities in the building that facilitating cyclists, such as bicycle parking, shower facilities, changing rooms, and bicycle access.

When uploading those photos, participants should mention Jakarta Dishub's social media account along with hashtag #BangunanRamahPesepeda in their posts.

"This award is given as our gratitude for all parties who have supported Jakarta Cycling Friendly program and accommodated cyclists," he stated.

Candidate selection will be held on September 14, 2020. It continues with survey on September 15-17, 2020 and jury assessment on September 18, 2020.

"According to plan, the award will be given by Jakarta Governor on the World Car Free Day, September 22," he closed.
