The Jakarta COVID-19 Quick Handling Task Force announces the latest information of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases as of September 15.

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head, Dwi Oktavia Tatri Lestari stated, based on the latest data, the swab tests had been carried out on 8,927 specimens. 7,141 of them were to diagnose new cases with 1,027 positive and 6,114 negative results.

"The number of people tested last week has reached 59,594, while 72,395 people have undergone the swab tests," she expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Tuesday (9/15).

As for the number of active cases in Jakarta to date was 12,179 people who were undergoing self-isolation at home (including data of athlete's homestead). As for the total number of confirmed cases in Jakarta today was 56,953 cases.

Of these cases, 43,306 people were cured with a cure rate reaching 76.0% and 1,468 people died with a death rate of 2.6%, while Indonesia's death rate was 4.1%. The positivity rate in the last week in Jakarta was 13.4%, while Indonesia was 7.4%. WHO also set a standard percentage of positive cases of no more than 5%.
