We're doing this to protect citizens from the coronavirus

The monitoring action on large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) in 24 temporary locations (loksem) and coached locations (lokbin) in North Jakarta area continues to be tightened. Apart from mandating health protocols, its operational hour is also limited.

North Jakarta Industry Trade Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency Head Yati Sudiharti said that 12 personnel had been alerted at the location. They divided into four teams in the loksem and lokbin across six sub-districts.

Amid the pandemic, she explained, the lokbin had to operate at 3 AM to 6 PM and loksem at 10 AM to 1 PM.

"No buying and selling activity, they only serve delivery and takeaway, especially culinary traders while implementing health protocols," she stressed.

To support the small and micro business, her sub-agency was going to ensure the North Jakarta Jakpreneur Online Bazar program (BORJU) can run until now. Since last May, more than 200 coached MSMEs selling their work with a total profit by Rp 20 million in three days.

"The Micro and Small Business Permit (IUMK) relaxation program is still ongoing. More than 3,000 IUMKs have been issued this year," she said.
