He expressed the GOR itself was sufficient for the self-isolation of COVID-19 patients. It was equipped with 20 isolation booths supported by facilities and technology developed by the Jakarta Regional Research Council in collaboration with nanobubble technology manufacturing companies in Indonesia.
"There is already a model developed by Jakarta DRD and has been tested. There are about 20 booths. They are not occupied yet, but the readiness is okay. Perhaps it becomes a model for other places," he explained.
Despite it was not certain when it would be used, the agency plan to prepare sports facilities such as the GORs and other sports centers as an alternative place for independent isolation.
"Certainly we have youth centers in each sub-district, so we just need to change the function," he stated.
