During implementation of PSBB Phase 2 on September 14-20, joint personnel from Satpol PP, ASN, TNI, and Police in South Jakarta netted 1,282 violators.

We impose social sanction on 1,178 violators and administrative fines on 104 violators

South Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Ujang Harmawan stated, as many as 1,282 violators were netted while his side carried out Mask Operation in 10 sub-districts.

"We impose social sanction on 1,178 violators and administrative fines on 104 violators with total Rp 19,900,000," he informed, Tuesday (9/22).

Not only disciplining people who didn't wear mask, his side also imposed sanction on 34 restaurants who violated PSBB regulations, consisting of one written warning, two temporary closings for 1x24 hours, and 31 temporary closings for 3x24 hours.

"We will intensify controlling and monitoring on business places to make people more disciplined and adhere to health protocols," he said.
