COVID-19 Isolation Place in Tidung Island Sprayed with Disinfectant

Sector 8 personnel from North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency sterilized homestay at RT 03/03 Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands, that will be used as isolation place for local residents who are exposed to COVID-19.

North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Gulkarmat Sub-agency Sector 8 Head, Eko Mahendro mentioned, disinfectant spraying was carried out as requested by Safe Islands Task Force to anticipate any residents who want to do self-isolation.

"We spray all the rooms and yard to sterilize the area before it is used," he conveyed, Wednesday (9/23).

His side deployed 4 personnel and 1 water sprayer unit to sterilize the homestay, started from yard, gazebo, restrooms, kitchen, living room, and bedrooms.

"We use 15 liters of disinfectant liquid in this spraying," he said.
