DPRD Assigns Five Jakarta KIP Commissioners

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission A assigned 5 commissioners for Jakarta Provincial Information Commission (KIP).

The result will be submitted to DPRD Chairperson, then forwarded to Governor

Those 5 commissioners were selected from 15 candidates who passed the fit and proper test held on Wednesday (9/23).

The selected 5 commissioners for KIP were Ara Hutabarat with 15 votes, Aang Muhdi Gozali with 14 votes, then Nelvia Gustina, Arya Sandhi Yudha and Harminus with same points of 12 votes.

Commission A Holds Fit and Proper Test for KIP Candidates

"The result will be submitted to DPRD Chairperson, then forwarded to Governor thus it can be made into Gubernatorial Decree (SK)," said Mujiyono, Chairperson of Commission A, on Thursday (9/24).

He hopes the selected KIP commissioners can be professional in resolving public information disputes based on Law (UU) No. 14/2008 concerning Public Information Openness (KIP).

"We hope it can produce professional human resources that can build synergy with DPRD," he added.

On the same location, Commission A Chairperson, Inggard Joshua also expected the selected candidates could carry out their duties well, thus Jakarta residents could feel the benefits.

"Hopefully the selected candidates can give their best to the residents," he closed.
