Again, Jakarta Opens Recruitment for Health Professionals

We open opportunity for Indonesian people as health workers with a work contract period valid from October to December 2020

Jakarta administration is hoping to recruit more medical workers including pulmonary specialists, internal medicine specialists, anesthetists, general practitioners, nurses, as well as laboratory staff and radiographers.

Acting City Secretary Sri Haryati said it was in order to meet the needs of health professionals to address the COVID-19 crisis in the capital.

"We open opportunity for Indonesian people as health workers with a work contract period valid from October to December 2020 and can be extended," she stated, Thursday (9/24).

She explained that health workers would be placed at the Health Agency, Regional General Hospital (RSUD), Puskesmas, COVID 19 examination laboratory network and emergency ambulance under Jakarta administration.

"They will receive a monthly wage of Rp 15 million for specialist doctors, Rp 10 million for general practitioners, Rp 7.5 million for nurses and Rp 5 million for health support personnel," she explained.

She added the registration for health professionals would be open from September 22 to 26 by filling out the form via https://bit.ly/tenakescovidjakarta.go.id.

"The administrative selection process, interviews and announcements will be conducted online. They entered into effective service from early October," she added.

As for the information, Jakarta has recruited 1,174 health workers. The administration also has increased the capacity of isolation beds and ICUs in 67 referral hospitals. As of September 20, there were 4,508 isolation beds with a utilization rate of 83 percent. While for the number of ICU beds were 658 with a utilization rate of 79 percent.
