Local Residents and Personnel Clean Up Channels in Kota Bambu Utara

Kota Bambu Utara Urban Village personnel and local residents cleaned up micro and connecting (phb) channels at RW 01, Kota Bambu Utara, Palmerah, West Jakarta.

We clean those channels to optimize channel's function to drain water thus inundation and flooding can be prevented

Kota Bambu Utara Urban Village Head, Ina Ariyani conveyed, her side collected 500 sacks full of mud and garbage from cleaning up several channels at RT 001, 002, 003, 004, 005, 006 and 009.

"We clean those channels to optimize channel's function to drain water thus inundation and flooding can be prevented," she said, Monday (9/28).

In order to clean the channels, her side deployed 20 PPSU personnel with assistance from 12 SDA Unit personnel, 1 truck from Environment Sub-agency, as well as 30 local residents, RT, RW, LMK, and FKDM.

"Besides, we also check several channels to make sure no blockages," she stated.
